The average annual wage for nurse practitioners has increased by a total of more than $16,000 since 2019, according to a May 23 report in Becker’s ASC Review.
In 2019, the mean annual wage was $111,840, compared to $128,490 in 2023, according to the report, which cites data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. In the same time period, the mean hourly rage rose from $53.77 to $61.78. In every year, California was the highest-paying state for nurse practitioners.
