The OR Manager Conference includes tracks for OR business managers, ambulatory surgery center managers, and new OR managers, as well as a dedicated Masters track, for those OR leaders with 10+ years of experience.

Originally from Brazil, Moura came to OR Manager from Exiger Diligence, where she was Associate Director of Editorial and managed a global editorial team that produced corporate intelligence reports. Before that, she was Managing Editor of Global HealthCare Insights, where her duties included interviewing subject experts and reporting on emerging markets on various topics in global healthcare. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English Language & Literature from the University of Maryland and a Master of Arts in Publishing & Writing from Emerson College.
Judy Mathias, MA, RN, Clinical Editor
Judy started her nursing career as part of a cardiac surgery team, first at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and then at Rose Medical Center in Denver. She left the OR after 15 years to become Clinical Editor of the AORN Journal, a position she held for more than 7 years. Judy has been Clinical Editor of OR Manager since 1990. She curates daily news for OR a.m., writes OR Manager articles, and sits on the Planning Committee for the annual OR Manager Conference. With a nursing diploma from St Louis City Hospital School of Nursing, Judy has a BS from Colorado Women’s College, Denver, and a master of arts degree in communications from the University of Northern Colorado.
