Best hospitals to work as a nurse

NurseJournal.org recently listed the best hospitals to work as a nurse. The hospitals were chosen, based on rankings from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, American Nurses Credentialing Center Magnet Recognition Program, and Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems survey.

Each hospital on the list has attained Magnet designation—only 378 of 6,000 hospitals in the US have attained this achievement, NurseJournal says.

The best hospitals include:

• Hospital for Special Surgery, New York City

• Houston Methodist Hospital, Houston, Texas
• Mayo Clinic Florida, Jacksonville, Florida
• Mayo Clinic Hospital Rochester, Rochester, Minnesota
• Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital, Sugar Land, Texas
• Inova Fairfax Hospital, Falls Church, Virginia
• Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts
• Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio
• Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio
