August is National ASC Month: Supporting the ASC industry

According to the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association (ASCA), every August,  ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) promote awareness of how they "have transformed the outpatient experience" by educating key policy and decision makers as well as the public on the many benefits ASCs provide.

To participate in this month's celebration, ASCA recommends:

• Customize Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn social media profiles with their National ASC Month banners
• Download and post on social media about National ASC Month using the hashtag #NationalASCMonth
• Download the What is an ASC? infographic and a state-specific fact sheet to expand recognition of the ASCs in local communities
• Sign up to host a facility tour for members of Congress
• Learn more about the 53-year history of ASCs.
