They are:

  • Tech-driven facilities—Gen Z workers expect employers to use the latest technology to improve patient care and make their work more automated,
  • Work-life balance—Gen Z workers want flexible scheduling, remote work, employee-assistance programs, and more time off.
  • Access to mental-health support—Gen Z workers want employers who prioritize mental health and provide resources for counseling services and stress management.
  • Diversity and inclusion—Gen Z workers want employers to promote diversity in hiring practices, provide cultural competency training, and create employee-resource groups.
  • Social responsibility—Gen Z workers want employers who engage in community outreach programs, implement environmentally friendly practices, and support social justice causes.
