OR Manager Conference Bookstore to open today

Editor's Note

The annual OR Manager Conference Bookstore, featuring 100+ titles, opens at 8:00 am PT today in the Octavius Ballroom at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas.

Books will be categorized by subject matter: clinical/study material, inspirational, conflict resolution, leadership, and finance, as well as books authored by 2016 OR Manager Conference speakers.

The bookstore will also feature unique gift and souvenir items, including the launch of OR Manager’s new product line, “The OR Life.” Items such as lunch boxes, tumblers, and t-shirts will be available for purchase.

Select authors will host book signings during the conference on the following days:

Wednesday, September 21

3:45–4:15 pm: Jane McLeod and Sue Tetzlaff, authors of The Employee Experience: A Capstone Guide to Peak Performance

5:30–6:15 pm: Marcus Engel, author of The Other End of the Stethoscope

Thursday, September 22

12:15–1:00 pm: Jody Urquhart, author of All Work & No SAY

5:30–6:15 pm: Elizabeth Norman, PhD, RN, author of We Band of Angels and Women at War: The Story of Fifty Military Nurses Who Served in Vietnam 1965-1973

Recordings of the conference sessions are available for pre-order at the bookstore for a discounted rate until Friday, September 23.
