Hybrid OR exhibit offers an engaging, dynamic learning experience

Multiple product demonstrations by hybrid OR equipment vendors and three town hall sessions with the Hybrid OR Steering Committee members gave OR Manager Conference attendees ample opportunity on September 22 to learn about the latest technology and best uses for these unique operating rooms.   

Town hall sessions covered the steps involved in creating a hybrid OR, including all the players and planning stages needed for a successful launch, the collaboration required to make best use of the space, and lessons learned. Steering committee members fielded questions from the audience, sharing insights and advice based on their own experience with hybrid ORs.

The hybrid OR exhibit and town hall sessions have greatly expanded since the 2014 launch to assist anyone involved with building or renovating a hybrid OR.
