Overall healthcare employment in the US was up in June to a seasonally adjusted 16,844,800 workers, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported on July 7. That’s up 41,100 since May.
Hospital employment also was up by 15,000 jobs.
The overall unemployment rate fell in June to 3.7%, for a total of 6.0 million unemployed people.
