HCA investing more than $300 M to support education, training of nurses

HCA Healthcare, Nashville, Tennessee, on May 8, announced that it is investing more than $300 million to support the education and training of nurses, including expanding the Louisville, Kentucky-based Galen College of Nursing and opening a new HCA Healthcare Centers for Clinical Advancement.

Since joining HCA Healthcare in 2020, Galen College of Nursing has announced 14 new campuses nationwide, with more than 12,000 students enrolled.

On April 18, HCA opened its 14th and 15th Centers for Clinical Advancement, accounting for 68 classrooms, 65 simulation rooms, and more than 145 manikins across the country. The Centers are designed to bridge the gap between the classroom and bedside, using leading technology and specialized manikins to simulate real-life scenarios for practicing nurses and new graduates.
