Collective wisdom: Veteran leaders entertain questions during open forum

During the “Ask Me Anything” forum on October 4, attendees heard from an expert panel consisting of Margo Karsten, PhD, MSN, BSN, Banner Health Northern Colorado chief executive officer, Banner Health; Janet Quigley, MSN, RN, nursing director, postanesthesia care, Massachusetts General Hospital; and David Wyatt, MPH, BSN, RN, NEA-BC, CNOR, associate operating officer, perioperative services, and associate nursing officer surgery, patient care center, Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
The session, designed to help prepare future leaders of the OR, was moderated by Jennifer Schwartz, MSN, BSN, RN, CNOR, regional perioperative director, Kaiser Permanente.
