Why is OR Manager transitioning to the Periop Leader Network?
The perioperative landscape has evolved far beyond the traditional OR. Leaders now span hospital ORs, ASCs, procedural suites, and hybrid surgical environments—and they need a resource that reflects the full spectrum of perioperative leadership. The Periop Leader Network better aligns with who we serve and the community we’ve built: professionals driving surgical excellence across all care settings.
When will the rebrand take effect?
The transition begins in 2026, with updates rolling in February across our website, newsletter, publications, events, and marketing materials.
What will change with the new brand identity?
You’ll see a new name, visual identity, and updated messaging that better reflect modern perioperative leadership. What won’t change is our commitment to trusted reporting, thought leadership, and community building.
Will the mission or editorial integrity change?
No. Our mission remains unchanged: To empower perioperative leaders with the tools, answers, and allies they need to lead with clarity. The rebrand expands—not replaces—our editorial scope to better serve contemporary surgical services.
Where can I get updates about the rebrand?
We’ll share updates through email, newsletters, our website, and social channels. Advertisers will also receive direct communication from their account representative.
Who can I contact with more specific questions?
Readers: Joe Paone, content director, jpaone@accessintel.com
Advertisers/Partners: Misty Simons, sales director, msimons@accessintel.com
How does the rebrand affect my subscription or membership?
Your access continues seamlessly. The content, newsletters, and resources you rely on will now live under the Periop Leader Network umbrella, with enhanced features and broader perioperative relevance. While our print publication will cease publication, this new approach to our content will expand access to timely, relevant information to support your role and expand our ability to share meaningful insights with you.
What are the new Periop Leader Memberships?
Instead of subscriptions, you will have two membership levels to choose from: Periop Leader Plus (free), and Periop Leader Insider ($229/year).
Periop Leader Plus, the essential, always-on resource for perioperative leaders who want trusted insights, benchmarking, and the latest industry intelligence, you’ll receive:
Periop Leader Insider, for perioperative leaders who want advanced insights, CE credits, VIP conference perks, and exclusive access to experts and peers, you’ll receive everything included in the Plus membership, and:
Do I need to take any action?
No action is required. You’ll automatically transition to the Periop Leader Network experience.
Will OR Manager monthly still exist?
The print publication will morph into an all-digital format, allowing for expanded, immediate access to the content you need. This change allows us to provide you with news and information more quickly, and in digestible portions for easy reading on-the-go, as well as maintaining our signature long-form editorial coverage.
Does this mean the content will focus less on the OR?
Not at all! OR-specific content remains core to our coverage. The rebrand simply broadens the lens to include the full continuum of perioperative services and leadership roles.
Why is the rebrand beneficial for advertisers?
The Periop Leader Network offers broader reach across all perioperative settings, not just the OR. This expanded identity gives advertisers access to a wider and more diversified audience of decision-makers, influencers, and buyers.
Will advertising placements or inventory change?
Your existing placements will continue as contracted. Over time, enhanced opportunities will be introduced—new formats, new digital experiences, and more targeted pathways to connect with perioperative leaders across settings.
Does the audience profile change with the new brand?
The core OR leadership audience remains, but the network expands to include ASC administrators, procedural services directors, clinical and business leaders, supply chain partners, sterile processing and perianesthesia care leaders, and perioperative executives.
Will the rebrand impact pricing?
Current rate structures remain in effect. Future products may include additional tiers or new sponsorship formats aligned with the expanded value of the Periop Leader Network.
How should advertisers refer to the brand going forward?
Beginning in February 2026, all promotional and partnership references should use Periop Leader Network. We will provide updated resources and logos as needed.
