Informal gatherings complement formal education at OR Manager Conference

Editor's Note

A strong community spirit has been a mainstay of the OR Manager Conference for more than 30 years. Regardless of age, years of experience, or specific job, everyone benefits from peer-to-peer interaction.

In addition to “Ask Me Anything” breakout sessions that offer informal Q&A opportunities to learn, the following “meetups” will take place on September 18 from 4 to 5 pm:

• PACU Manager (in the PACU Pavilion)
• ASC Manager (in the OR of the Future)
• OR Manager Subscriber (in the OR Manager Lounge).

Meetups will be followed by a happy hour (5-6 pm) with members of the OR of the Future Steering Committees and the Mardi Gras Kickoff Party (5-6:30 pm), both in Exhibit Hall B.
