The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced on June 12 that it would postpone the planned July update to its overall Hospital Quality Star Ratings.

The agency will seek additional feedback from a multi-disciplinary expert panel and provider leadership workgroup, and it will conduct a public comment period.
