Cleveland Clinic’s remote, hybrid workforce continues to expand even as other companies bring employees back to the office, Becker’s Hospital Review reported on January 12.
More than 11,000 employees of Cleveland Clinic spend at least a portion of their week working online, a number that has increased from 9,200 since September 2022. This increase follows the June 2021 introduction of a long-term remote work strategy led by 25 “champions” who focus on educating leaders about remote work and helping online employees form communities.
Roles with the option to work remotely include systems and financial analysts, program and care management, HR, scheduling, patient financial advocacy, and authorization.
