Experienced group of OR managers, directors moves toward retirement
OR managers and staff are moving toward retirement right along with their veteran staff. Within about 12 years, nearly 70% of OR managers and directors expect to no longer be in the workforce. They will take with them a wealth of experience—more than half of current OR managers and directors have been in nursing 30 or more years. Their average age is 52.
