The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), School of Nursing, on March 20, announced that it has been selected as a recipient of the UC Hispanic Serving Institutions Doctoral Diversity Initiative.
The initiative is designed to attract underrepresented minorities to doctoral programs with the long-term goal of developing nursing faculty members that reflect California’s diversity.
A total of $700,000 will be used to recruit and support minority students over the next 5 years.
