The Joint Commission: Deadline for CY 2022 ORYX performance measurement data submission is June 14

The Joint Commission, on June 7, announced that the deadline for acute care hospitals, critical access hospitals, and freestanding psychiatric hospitals to submit CY 2022 performance measure data via the Direct Data Submission Platform (DDSP) is June 14.

This data must be submitted to meet the ORYX performance measure requirement for:

• organizations required or electing to submit chart-abstracted data (data must be entered and submitted for all four quarters)
• organizations required or electing to submit electronic clinical quality measures (data must be uploaded, verified, and submitted for three self-selected quarters).

Staff with access to an organization’s DDSP should verify that the data is submitted and download a submission report, The Joint Commission says.
