The Joint Commission announces opening of CY 2022 Direct Data Submission Platform

The Joint Commission on February 22 announced the opening of the CY 2022 Direct Data Submission Platform. The opening had been delayed to improve its stability.

The delay extends submission deadlines for CY 2022 data and delays the opening of the platform for CY 2023 data.

The new deadlines are:

• CY 2022: Electronic clinical quality measure (eCQM) deadline extended from March 15 to June 14, 2023
• CY 2022: Chart-abstracted data (Q1/Q2/Q3/Q4) deadline extended from April 30 to June 14, 2023
• CY 2023: Opening rescheduled from early-May to mid-July, 2023.
