Joint Commission releases 2018 Hospital Compliance Assessment Checklist

Joint Commission Resources on January 17 released the 2018 Hospital Compliance Assessment Checklist, a self-assessment workbook designed to help organizations with standards compliance and survey readiness.

In addition to hospital standards and elements of performance (EP), this year’s Checklist includes:

• High-level prompts to promote staff discussion and cultivate compliance strategies.
• Questions for assessing each EP in the accreditation manual.
• Tracer questions and worksheets to help an organization prepare for a survey.
• Site license that lets accreditation prep team share data.

 The cost of the publication ranges from $179 (soft cover) to $259 (site license).
