ECRI, ISMP celebrate World Patient Safety Day September 17

ECRI and the Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP) are joining global leaders in celebrating World Patient Safety Day, September 17, 2020.

This year’s theme is “Health Worker Safety: A Priority for Patient Safety.”

In honor of the day and to support healthcare workers, ECRI has launched a website that offers free and shareable content on:

• COVID-19 personal protective equipment
• Infection prevention
• Medication safety
• Worker safety, health, and wellness.

ECRI’s president and CEO, Marcus Schabacker, MD, PhD, extends special thanks to all healthcare workers for their “brave and selfless care of COVID-19 patients.”
