The University of Cincinnati Medical Center invested $6 million to upgrade an operating room for heart and vascular procedures, which was about three times the cost of a typical OR. Doctors will begin using it on June 19. The so-called hybrid operating room includes $2.6 million in equipment and advanced medical imaging devices.
