The American Nurses Association (ANA) is launching its annual month-long celebration that allows for greater opportunities to promote understanding and appreciation of nurses.
The month is divided into four weekly focus areas—Self-Care, Recognition, Professional Development, and Community Engagement.
As part of this month of recognition, National Nurses Week begins on May 6, which is also National Nurses Day, and ends on May 12, Florence Nightingale’s birthday. This year’s theme is: “You Make A Difference.”
