The American College of Surgeons on May 17 announced that May 20 is the fourth annual national STOP THE BLEED® day.

This year, there are new opportunities for learning STOP THE BLEED®, both virtually and in-person. However, ACS still recommends the in-person course as the best way to learn the skills to respond in the event of a bleeding emergency.
