Director of Surgical Services
The Position:
Oversee the day-to-day operation
of the Surgical Services Department, including the main operating
room with 16 ORs,
PACU, Pre-Op, Outpatient Surgery, Sterile Processing, Pain
Management, GI Lab, and Pre-Surgery Testing. Responsible for
250 FTEs with the support of a leadership team of seasoned
managers. The department is state-of-the-art and strongly supported
financially by the hospital. A Master’s degree is desired
and a Bachelor’s in Nursing is required.

nurse manager, you will have the responsibility for the overall
operations of one of our major operating room departments,
specializing in an Adult Open Heart Program, Kidney Transplant
Program, MIS Surgery, Ophthalmology, Cancer Program, Bloodless
Surgery Program and Bariatric Treatment Program and a new cutting-edge
Ambulatory Procedure Center and will ensure the delivery of
safe, efficient, high quality patient care and services. You
will work collaboratively with other Legacy
Health managers and employees to develop systems and procedures
necessary for daily operations and provide training, information
and support.
Requires BSN or equivalent experience; Master’s
preferred; minimum three years OR experience plus a minimum
five years
experience in operations, strong communication and leadership
skills and a willingness to lead by example. Demonstrated
physician collaboration a must.

Job Description:
To facilitate and implement strategic initiatives for the organization
